WHEN IN CHARLESTON...

\\

This was Charlie and I's first time visiting Charleston, South Carolina. We had a pretty good time. It's literally impossible to do everything in this city in two days but I must say we sure did try. We took an amazing carriage tour around the Battery, had some fresh seafood on the boardwalk, shopped downtown and of course did a little thrifting and, with the encouragement of the wedding set-up crew, we snuck into The William Aiken House and snaped a few shots of the inside, got caught I would say 30 minutes into our photographer session and we were finally kicked out but we didn't care because we got enough photos to say we were there. What would have been better is if we had captured some shots of the wedding but it was unfortunately to early. Yes, believe or not, Charles and I are rebels at heart, LOL. After all the "Rebel Without A Cause" Shenanigans, we walked around the city a little more and then grabbed some gelato and spent the remainder of the afternoon walking the boardwalk.

We were both in dire need of a mini vacation and we thought SC was close enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life in Raleigh, but close enough to home that if we needed to get back and get some work done we could. All in all, it was a nice relaxing, hot vacation. Nothing is set in stone yet but we may be booking it to Jamaica for Christmas guys! I'm not sure so don't get too excited. Chances are we might be right here in NC for the winter break but only time will tell. In the meantime, I'm packing my bags for a small trip to Winston Salem next week  for a fashion show! So excited for Charlie and I to be shooting this fashion show, and what makes it even better is all the proceeds collected from the show go to breast cancer research! Not a bad way to end breast cancer awareness month, huh?

Till next time good peoples.

Sincerely,

Deidra Marie
